Superman meets Madman in DC/Dark Horse miniseries.
DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics join forces with creator Mike Allred in June when the Man of Steel meets the Man of Madness in this summer's most surprising crossover, The Superman/Madman Hullabaloo!
In each of their respective universes, Superman and Madman are involved in scientific experiments, the results of which propel the unsuspecting superbeings into one another's world. The only thing is, each takes half of the other with him -- creating two confused heroes and one big Hullabaloo! It's wackier than red kryptonite and more bizarre than Bizarro when two worlds get an even stranger visitor from another planet -- Supermadman!
The three-issue, full-color miniseries is written and illustrated by long-time comics aficionado and award-winning Madman creator Mike Allred, who is definitely excited about this project. Says Allred, "Wow! Superman, the superhero who all others have followed, is hanging out with my humble, everyman character Frank `Madman' Einstein. I haven't had this kind of fun since I played with G.I. Joes in the sand pile with my brothers!"
"This is about as perfect as comics can get," said Dark Horse president Mike Richardson. "Mike's rendition of Superman is so much like Fleisher's great animated version, I feel about five years old reading this comic!"
The Superman/Madman Hullabaloo! is a fantastic read that guarantees to put the fun back into funnybooks! The first issue goes on sale June 4 for $2.95.

Jurassic fans get a second treat this summer with Age of Reptiles: The Hunt!
Dinosaur devotees will get an extra dose of Jurassic-period fun this summer with the release of Ricardo Delgado's Age of Reptiles: The Hunt! Originally serialized in a five-issue miniseries, The Hunt is the amazing sequel to Delgado's groundbreaking series of 1993 Age of Reptiles: Tribal Warfare. These realistic tales of dinosaurs are told entirely in pictures. Age of Reptiles: The Hunt is a story for all ages and regarded as one of the finest uses of the comics medium.
Through his innovative approach, Delgado has earned a host of renowned fans. Here's what some of them have to say about Age of Reptiles:
"Delgado injects the frenetic rhythms and energy of a Chuck Jones "Roadrunner" cartoon into the sprawling majesty of his Mesozoic world. The closest thing to actual captured motion on the printed page, the abrupt lunges and pivots of Delgado's dinosaurs are enough to give you whiplash." --Mark Schultz, Xenozoic Tales
"Ricardo Delgado's wordless narratives and saurian characters have their own eerie opacity and elegance, and the man orchestrates his pages like a maestro. An urgent, compelling, and primal read for young and old -- highly recommended!" --Steve Bissette, Tyrant
"Ricardo's work is reminiscent of the great animators Willis O'Brien and Ray Harryhausen, in making dinosaurs live and breathe with individual personalities and lives fully realized on the page." --John Landis, producer/director
"[Ricardo Delgado's] delightful approach should rightly be called `Prehistoric Mime,'or an excursion into the hearts and minds of the lost world of the dinosaurs." --Ray Harryhausen, producer/director
Age of Reptiles: The Hunt is adventure and drama for all ages! The 152-page trade paperback will go on sale July 2 for $17.95.

Editor's Note - To give other publisher's equal time, here are some press releases from Dark Horse. Dark Horse is the Number 3 (or #4 - depending on who you believe) publisher of comics! Can you say "big-budget-movie-coattails" three times real fast? Dark Horse has been around for over 10 years, and folling in the proud tradition of (the now defunct) NOW comics!(pun intended) Oh - another tongue twister "big budget blockbusters and TPB books brings big bucks!"
