 Prodigy Chat Central

Prodigy Chat Central is a great chat, you can configure it forever to have chat your way.

Prodigy Chat Central is always busy, but one that you can set to your needs. For power chatters, this is the place to be.

There are 14 onscreen buttons waiting attention, along with a list of fellow chatters and a scrolling screenplay, it's no wonder the chat screens are cramped. When you enter, you can select and change your nickname, set access to keep someone from seeing what you think they shouldn't, or find out more about the general functions. You can choose to check member profiles, list or withhold your personal email address, or be notified as certain members come and go. You can activate and send WAV files, and even format your chat

A list of chat categories shows you the topics, because it's also easy to start a chat, there are topics on everything. You can check out a Room List to see who's talking about what. By checking the ratio on the Room List, you can see where the chatter is happening. An Instant Messaging feature lets you nudge someone just by clicking on a button; you can also click on an Exclude button to block someone out. Another button lets you log chats and save them to disk.

Help is all over the place, available from virtually every screen. With more buttons and user-definable options than you'll know what to do with, plus a well-organized list of rooms, Prodigy Chat Central leads the pack.
