 Cool '80s Catalog

Rhino Records has some pretty cool '80s compilations. Be forewarned though, it takes forever to download these graphics. However, what you can experience is:

  • VH1: The Big '80s -- this first CD contains Toni Basil ("Oh Mickey.."), Wang Chung ("Everybody Wang Chung tonight") and Flock of Seagulls (the hair). You can even download a few songs, "Tempted" by Squeeze and "Rapture" by Blondie.

  • VH1: More of the Big '80s -- this is the second series. Even more so increasing the popularity of the VH1 show, The Big '80s, where they feature videos of the era.

  • Poptopia: Power Pop Classics of the '80s -- featuring groups like The Romantics ("What I Like About You"). This is the new series that debuted in January 1997 with the other two volumes, Power Pop Classics of the '70s and '90s.

    Rhino doesn't have online ordering as of yet, but they are working on it. There is a merchandising page where you can call, fax or download an order form.
