Custom parts and equipment auto insurance coverage provides protection for custom parts that are installed in the vehicle. If your vehicle is altered, you need to get this insurance coverage so that they can be replaced for free if you get involved in an accident. Normally, custom parts and equipment coverage is include in comprehensive insurance and collision insurance. If it is not included in the policy, you can buy it separately.
